Custom software and AI solutions for your business.

WannaWare is a software development and AI solutions studio in Spokane Valley, Washington, founded and run by Chris Durkin. We build intelligent systems end to end — from AI receptionists that answer your phones to multi-agent pipelines that run entire workflows on their own — for businesses across Eastern Washington, North Idaho, and the Inland Northwest.

What we do

AI Consulting — strategy and architecture for businesses adopting AI, with clear ROI targets instead of hype.

Agentic Automations — multi-agent workflows that replace repetitive cognitive work and take action across the tools you already use: calendars, CRMs, phones, spreadsheets, and public records.

Custom AI Solutions — bespoke applications powered by large language models and machine learning, with human-in-the-loop checkpoints exactly where they matter.

Software Development — modern web and mobile builds when AI alone isn't the answer, including upgrades to the business systems you already run.

Meet SARA, our AI receptionist

SARA (Spokane AI Receptionist Automation) is WannaWare's flagship prototype: a fully custom AI receptionist that answers 24/7, recognizes returning callers, captures messages, transfers live calls, and books project conversations. Call her at (509) 210-8155, or talk to her right here on the site — she can also run a short strategy session and give you a straight read on the direction we'd take for your project.

Portfolio and prototypes

Live work includes Fleet Seat, a full shop operating platform for an Idaho upholstery and canvas fabrication business — public website, staff system and customer portal in one app, with built-in accounting and a confirm-before-act AI assistant; Friday Conversations, a podcasting platform and member portal for a Spokane networking group; RapidLife Solutions, a website and 15-minute quote funnel for a life-insurance brokerage; and the Liberty Business Collaborative site with backend automations. In the lab: Wanna Land Manager (finds land and tracks city and county meetings automatically), WannaParalegal (a coordinated team of AI agents for calendaring, document review, and correspondence triage), WannaMediAgent CMS (full-stack automation for CMS insurance sales professionals), and WannaMDA (multi-sensor anomaly detection that predicts equipment failures weeks in advance).

How we work

Discover — a 1–2 week sprint that maps your highest-ROI workflows.

Prototype — a working agentic pipeline you can poke at in 2–4 weeks, on real data.

Deploy — production-grade rollout with monitoring, guardrails, and security for regulated industries (HIPAA, SOC 2).

Iterate — weekly checkpoints and monthly reviews as the agents learn and ROI compounds.

We work with any size business — tiny to massive — plus regional non-profits and governments. The first meeting is free and travel within the region is included.
